WORLD POLICE AND FIRE GAMES OPENING AND CLOSING CEREMONIES
-An Epic event this year being held in sunny Vancouver! I have been busy finding costumes, dancers, performers and props for this great event. I am currently working on the design and build of a very special torch to be lit at the opening ceremonies. Check back soon for pictures! The Opening Ceremonies will take place at GM Place on July 31 at 7pm with 10,000 Police and Firemen from 50 different countries coming out to participate. Did I mention that I will also be a parade marshall for our 10,000 delegates?!
-A very special project and an honour to work with the legendary Haida Artist and Carver Jim Hart. In collaboration with White Monkey Design and the artist himself, I will be painting 6 casts of Jim’s famous piece, “The Raven” which is currently on display at the top of the Totem pole in the Bill Read Gallery. These 6 new pieces will be displayed for purchase at the Douglas Reynolds Art Gallery on Granville St when finished.
